Installation

Installing any plugins/ components using Joomla default installer is pretty simple. To do so,

• Go to Extension> Manage> Install.

• Under the Upload Package File tab, there is a Drag and Drop file upload area where to drop the file and it will automatically upload the component. It will show you a successful installation message as soon as it installed successfully.

Enabling

You can find those installed add-on on the plugin list. What you need to do to enable that component is-

• Go to Extensions> Plugins

• Find the plugin from the list. You can use the search box to find it quickly. Just write auth on the Ajax search box, and you’ll find it on the top of the module. After you find it, enable it just by clicking on the pointed area shown in the screenshot below.

Configuration

• Click over the addon name and the configuration modal will appear.

There are two configuration labels on the configuration window.

• Field name to query : put additional properties or remove any, for generate queries in order to get the particular information for an item.

Exception for Authentication

• Same products match : Map similar items to deliver updates at a time.

You need to download two components; GeekElasticSearch for Joomla and DigiCom-ElasticSearch addon.

• Visit JoomlaGeek’s website and download Geek ElasticSearch Component

• Now, visit our website, go to DigiCom’s Addons Page, head over to DigiCom-ElasticSearch addon and use the download button to download the addon package.

Installation

Manual process a bit laborious. In case you are not using DigiCom-ExtendLicense addon, to do the task manually, follow the instruction below.

• Go to DigiCom> License

• Use the search button to find a license ID.

• Click on the license ID which you want to extend and a modal window will appear.

• Click on the screenshot pointed area to change the customer/ authorship of the item/ product.
• ISSUE and EXPIRE date pickers allow you to make the new expiration date of the item/ product.
• Finally save it when you are done.

Add New Notifications

Adding new notifications is pretty straightforward. Follow the instruction below to add a new notification,

• Go to DigiCom> Notifications

• Click the New button at the right-top.

Here you can find couple of configuration options. Check below for what they stands for.

Title : Give a name for the notification.

General

• APPLY ON PRODUCTS : Define for which product you are creating this notification. Else, you can create the notification for all products.
• DESCRIPTION : Put a description text about this notification.
• STATUS : To set the status published means that it's in enable state.
• ACCESS : Define the targeted user group from the drop-down. By default its public.
• EMAIL EVENT : Define when you want the notification is to be appeared.
• TIME : Set the time.
• EMAIL CC : Put additional email address to send the notification via the email.
• EMAIL BCC : This is optional.
• SUBJECT : Put a subject.
• EMAIL FORMAT : You can either select HTML or TEXT. HTML format allows you to send customized html page as notification, where TEXT allows only send notification as plain text.

MESSAGE

• MESSAGE : Keep the default message or customize the message body. If the EMAIL FORMAT option is set HTML, you can write html markup to customize the message.
• SHORTCODE : Those shortcodes can be used on the message body. Shortcodes automatically convert the code into name.

DISCOUNT

• ENABLE DISCOUNT : Allows you to enable or disable a discount via this notification.
• DISCOUNT TYPE : You can either discount a fixed amount or in percentage.
• AMOUNT : Define the discount amount here.

See the Log information

• Click on the Logs at the top-left of configuration module.

• You can clear all log information by simply clicking on Empty Log button.

User can add a domain from his dashboard after successfully login with the valid username and password.

• Click on Add Domain button and put the domain URL on the url text box and click on the Submit button below the box.

Update Domain

Updating a domain URL is pretty simple, that can be done by DigiCom Dashboard> Domain Control

• Click on the Edit button

• Put the updated URL on the Change text box and click on the Update button to successfully update the domain.

Define the number of domain

From the DigiCom Dashboard> Products

• Click on any existing product,
• Under ATTRIBUTES tab, put a numeric value on the number of domain text box in order to specify that how many domain can be added for this item.

• Click on the Save button from the top of the module and you are done.

Making New Release

To make a new release, follow the instruction below.

• Go to DigiCom> Release

• Click on New Release from the top-right of the module.

• Now, fill-up all the fields according to your product details.

• Select a product : Choose the product from the drop-down that you are releasing.
• File : Select the product’s file from the drop-down.
• Name : Put the name of the product.
• Description : Put the description text of that product.
• Version : Define the version of the product you are releasing.
• InfoURL (optional) : Put the url if the product does have any announcement blog post or so.
• Tag : Select the product tag for this release.
• Type : Define the type of the product.
• Element : Put the element tag correctly.

• Client : Specify the client for your product.
• Platform : Define the platform of which your product is belongs to. (Either Wordpress (wp) or Joomla)
• Platform Version : Define the platform version.
• Release Date : Put the releasing date.
• Changelog : List out which things have been changed or modified in this current version or specify this as initial release.
• Alias Products :

• Published : Choose Yes to confirm publishing.

• Now click on Save & Close button to successfully make the release.

• Put your PAP full URL on the corresponding text box.
• Put your PAP account ID (optional). By default the value would be deafult1.

• Put the PAP script that you get from the PAP settings.

• Make sure that the Status is enabled.

• Click on the plugin name, and you’ll find another configuration module to configure the addon as per your need.
• Define the Customer User Group. Just write your customer’s User group on the empty text box.
• Put the MailScout App’s installation path on the corresponding text box.
• Get the API token from MailScout and paste on the corresponding text box.
• Now, define the tags for Free Purchase, Pending Payment, After Payment, After Expire and After Refund then define whether you want to use the Product Name as the tag after purchase process has been completed.

• Make sure that the Status is set Enable on the righ-top side of the module.

Adding MailScout tag for Individual Product

• Go to DigiCom> Products

• You can add new products then use mailScout tag on them, or you can add mailScout tag on existing products.

Let’s add mailScout tag on an existing product.

• Click on a product name and from the ATTRIBUTES tab, you will find and option to put MailScout Tag.

Giving Access to Customers

First you need to make a User Group or you can use any of the existing one. Here, I’m showing you how to create a User Group.

• Go to User> Groups> Add New Group

• Click on the new button from the top-left corner
• Give a Group Title and choose the group parent from the drop-down as pointed on the screenshot.

• Now, go to Extensions> Plugins and click on the ACL plugin.

• Choose the Customer Group where you want to put the customers in.
• Save it using the Save button at left-top.

Now, if a customer at least buy one product using the particular payment method, he would be added to the Group that you have just set.

Modifying access for a User Group

You can easily modify the access for a User Group according to your wish.

• Go to DigiCom Dashboard and click on Options appearing on the right-top.

• Click on ACL

• Choose your custom User Group from the left bar and modify the access from the right section area.

How To’s

Adding a product for Cross-Selling

• Go to DigiCom> Dashboard
• Select the products from the left sidebar.

• Add new products using Add Product button from the right top corner or click on an existing product to add cross-sale product.
• Click on CROSS SALE tab

• Click on Add Product button as pointed on the screenshot.

• Choose the product from the list you want to make a pair with your selected product.

• Set a discount price for the product.

• Save it and you are done.

You can see the preview using the Preview button next to the Save button.

After your customer click Add to Cart button, he’ll find a new product suggestion appearing underneath his desired one with your defined discount rate.
