Template Settings Issue

Sometimes template settings are showing in a single page and tabs are not working properly. It's because of your site File Permission. Contact to your host and ask them to correct the following file's permission. libraries => expose => interface => js => jquery.cookie.js

JInstaller Cannot find Joomla XML setup

If you see this message means, you are trying to install Expert Explorer (aka Quickstart) package through Joomla! installer.

Expert Explorer is a Joomla Quickstart package and you can't install it inside an existing Joomla! setup. You have to install it like the way you install Joomla. Read our Expert Explorer installation guide and quickstart-installation for more details.

Installing on local server, but stucks on sample data installation

Due to big sample data file size sometimes it becomes tough for server to process properly. So you have to increase MySQL memory size.

Installed template not looking like demo

If you want to have the same look as our demo then you have to install Template’s Expert Explorer pack because it is a Joomla quickstart pack and it holds sample data. But if you install the template only then you will not get the sample data and template will not look like the demo. You have to add content to it.

Installing Framework & Template

The Expose framework itself is independent of any template. Each Expose powered template relies on the Expose framework to provide the underlying base and extensive functionality that enables the creation of such powerful sites. To make the update and deployment of framework as easy as possible we've seperated the library from template.

Framework bundle

Framework bundle consist of 2 files:

Framework library
Framework plugin

Framework library : This is the main framework library file works as a engine for Expose based template. Framework plugin : This is the system plugin file load mega menu parameters in Joomla backend and provide the mega menu functionality.

This system plugin must be installed and enabled from Joomla backend.

Installation

Unlike any other Joomla template/extension, installation of Expose framework and template is fairly simple. Use the extensions installer in the Joomla administration, go to Extensions => Extensions Manager => Install

Click on Browse select the downloaded Expose framework library and click on Upload & Install Repeat this step again to install Expose template.

Heads up! Expose framework library not required to be activate. It just need to install and it will be used when needed.

Activate Plugin

By default Expose plugin is active, but if it's not then go to Extensions => Plug-in Manager Type expose and search and enable the plugin.

Activate Template

To activate the new template go to Extensions => Template Manager choose the installed template and click on Default By clicking on the templates name, you'll be able to change all template specific settings.

The Expose Framework is free and released under the GPLv3.0 license. The definition of this license as stated on Wikipedia is:

The GPL is an example of a powerful copyleft license that requires derived works to be available under the same copyleft. Under this philosophy, the GPL grants the recipients of a computer program the rights of the free software definition and uses copyleft to ensure the freedoms are preserved, even when the work is changed or added to. This is in distinction to permissive free software licenses, of which the BSD licenses are the standard examples.

Usage

You are free to use the Expose Framework for your personal and commercial projects. You do not have to keep the Expose or ThemeXpert links and logos in the frontend, however you must ensure that all copyright notices in the code are retained. Also if you intend to use the Expose Framework in a commercial project, or a template you intend to redistribute in any form, please retain a Powered by Expose logo and link in the backend administrative interface.

Joomla Requirements

It is strongly recommended that you always use the latest stable version of Joomla to ensure all known bugs and security fixes are addressed. At the time of this writing the current stable version is 2.5.11. We encourage you to update your Joomla install if you are running anything less than this version.

PHP: Recommended 5.4+ Minimum 5.3+

Browser Requirements

The back-end administration requirements of Expose in order of preference are as follows:

Firefox 3+
Safari 4+
Google Chrome 3+
Opera 9+
Internet Explorer 8+

NOTE: Internet Explorer 6 is NOT supported in the administration side of Expose. The JavaScript and CSS requirements are such that they demand the use of a modern browser. Also please note that Internet Explorer 7 and even Internet Explorer 8 have very slow JavaScript implementations and are not really recommended if at all possible.
